Care
Made to age well
Treated simply, full-grain leather only looks better with the years. Here's how to help it along.
01Everyday
Let it patina.
Full-grain leather is meant to be used. With time it darkens, softens, and takes on the marks of everyday carry — that character is the point, not a flaw. No treatment is needed to earn it.
02Keep it dry
Water and heat.
- Avoid soaking. If it gets wet, blot with a dry cloth and let it air-dry away from direct heat.
- Don't use a hair dryer, radiator, or sunny windowsill — fast heat dries and cracks leather.
03Conditioning
A little, now and then.
- Every few months, work a small amount of neutral leather conditioner in with a soft cloth.
- Test on an inside edge first, apply thin, and buff off the excess — less is more.
- Skip household oils and harsh cleaners; they can darken or stain unevenly.
04Storage
Resting it.
Store somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sun. Don't overload a wallet — keeping it to what you use daily helps it hold its shape for years.
